I lost two days this week to sound card issues, and am running a little behind with podcast production. (My kingdom for an MBox 2 Mini.) I plan on working through the weekend, and Episode 74 will up on Sunday.

Brenda,
Thanks for the update. I was thrilled last podcast to hear you were back to your once a week schedule. I’ve been listening to your podcast regularly since late summer — but this is the first time I’ve written to tell you how much I enjoy your work. You bring me new horizons, new knitting info and just plain good times. One of my favorite episodes is your tribute to your friend Jean. Last week I was fascinated by the knit ML language, and have joined the Ravalry group. Episode 73 was one of your best episodes ever — so it just shows, its best to follow your heart in the direction you want to go with the podcast. In this week, that the US has reached the highest unemployment figures in 30 years — I find myself part of those numbers having been laid off in the very week. You provide inspiration for looking outside the box as I look forward to my next adventure. Thx, Sarah
Dear Brenda,
Happy Anniversary! I just saw that it is Feb.2 and since it is also Groundhog Day, I can never forget how special this day is for you.
I love your podcast and discovered so many similarities between the two of us. Someday I have to write it up in an email for you. Keep up the wonderful work,
Marcia from Germany
Happy anniversary!!!!!!!! Here in NZ it’s now 3rd Feb but I know with you it is still (just!) 2nd, so I hope you and your love spent a gorgeous anniversary day together! My partner and I had a Civil Union last year and it’s a wonderful feeling to have been able to do so at last.
Thanks so much for all your podcasts – the last couple sound like you’ve really got your mojo back and a thousand thank yous for all your hard work on ALL the podcasts – yours are still my all-time favourite! Keep following your heart 🙂
Best wishes to you and Tonya for the coming year.
Kate (who once lived in South Wales but now lives in New Zealand)
Happy Anniversary Brenda!
Hope you both have a wonderful day!
Cheers!
Ooh! I can’t wait! Thank you so much for all you do to bring us your podcast. Please be aware that there are THOUSANDS of us who really really appreciate your work!!
Brenda,
I keep seeing pictures of the UK covered in snow, its starting to look like a Narnia winter there, and our little US groundhog predicted six more weeks of winter. We will most certainly understand if the podcast production is slowed by a few extra cups of hot cocoa — stay warm, and keep up the phenomenal podcasting!
Megan in the US
Megan, and knitsibs all – It’s not the snow keeping me from finishing the podcast, but a stupid stupid migraine that’s been dogging me for three days! My eyes are really light sensitive, and staring at a monitor makes it worse. This happens sometimes, and I’ve learned that stepping away from the computer is best, and that I actually recover more quickly when I pursue that strategy. So I’m trying to avoid work as well avoid obsessively checking Twitter, but man, that requires some self control!
On the bright side, it’s a snow day, Tonia’s home, I have my knitting and… Megan, now that you mention it, cocoa sounds pretty good!
Hugs, and see you all soon.
B
OMG, Brenda, stay away from your monitor! (Why am I even leaving you a comment, knowing full-well what light does to migraines myself. Ugh!) Hope the pain eases up and the “headache hangover” as I like to call it, doesn’t last too long!
Kim
How weird is it that I got a download of the new cast-on, but then it disappeared from iTunes. Am I imagining this, or was there yet another computer glitch?
Happy Belated Anniversary to you and Tonia. And please stay away from light for awhile. Wear sunglasses indoors if you have to. I get 3-4 migraines a week. My heart goes out to you, sweetie!
Feel better soon! We’ll still be here when you get back…and yes, twitter is addictive. Have you found steven fry’s one yet?
