Brother Amos - Knit with the saints or fry with the sinners, your feet will look great either way. Inspired by the fiery preacher in the British modern classic novel, Cold Comfort Farm, by Stella Gibbons, Brother Amos' socks feature a lace stitch pattern reminiscent of the flickering flames of hell where, according to Brother Amos, we're all doomed to "fritter and fry" for eternity.
Mrs Beeton - A free pattern, first published in Knitty.com, Mrs Beeton wrist warmers are the essence of romance, with soft ruffles that look wonderful peeking out from under a jacket sleeve, and beads that catch the light and sparkle at your wrists.
Driving Miss Daisy - Wrist-length fingerless driving gloves feature a daisy lace stitch pattern on the back of the hand, a thumb gusset for comfort, and a garter stitch wristband with single button closure for a snug and sassy fit.

Hello Brenda –
I am a new subscriber to your podcast – now up to episode 11 or so, and loving it. I am delighted I found your show (through the twiceknit blog) and look forward to getting to know you, and your sweaters, over the next 40+ shows. I started with the most recent episode you posted (just to see if I’d like it ye know) and heard you talk about this dress. I’m sure I wasn’t the only one to initially raise a brow at the pink-with-black-lace description – but WOW. This is one of those times when a picture just brings it all together. She is a stunning bride and just a vision of beauty and happiness,
Regards,
Denise

Simply gorgeous! Your work looks amazing! The whole look is just fabulous. I’d love to know more about the hairpiece/fascinator. Wow… just beautiful. Congratulations, you’ve finished the dress. Now you can move on to new projects. That can be an unnerving and somewhat lonely time, but with your work on the blog, I’m sure you’ve not a minute to spare. Bella! Bella!

What a stunner that dress is – a true labour of love. Many many best wishes for the couple’s happiness. That gal deserves a pair of Mrs. Beeton’s in black and pink with some sparkly beads. Can you imagine always seeing black and pink and remembering your wedding day, dress and new MIL. How lovely.
What a wonderful photo! Gorgeous dress. Gorgeous couple.
Looks fantastic! May the couple always see the rosy side of dark moments and the serious side of their love.
The dress was unbelievable! So stunning I was lost for words . But most of all, it was everything I could have wished for for Laura, & was her to a “T”.
Thank you Brenda, it was such a wonderful thing you did for her.
Love Always,
Anne,
Lauras very proud & lucky Mam.
Coming to this months later as I’m catching up with podcasts … is the photo still around somewhere? After listening to episode 58 I’m all curious about the lace now!:-)
