Sometimes a cold is a cold, and other times it is man flu.
I had a choice when planning my recent trip to the US, to visit family before the cruise, or to cruise first, and then visit family. I chose the former, so that I could be home, and well rested enough to be able to enjoy Eurovision. Yes. I am a Eurovision dork, and I freely admit it. It starts in just a few minutes, and I am giddy with excitement. Or that might possibly be the wine. Tonia has just tossed a couple of steaks on the grill, and I am home, and getting over my jet lag, and also my man flu. I even napped today, so I can stay up late and enjoy the glorious foolishness that has become my favorite TV event in recent years.
oh I think it makes sense to plan travel around Eurovision!

Damn! Just realised yesterday was not the last Friday of the month! Oh well, 6 more to go then! 🙂
I often think that the only thing better than an exciting trip is coming back home. Wine, grilled steaks, and a good show sound heavenly.
Loved the knitting brides in Bosnia & Herzagovina’s entry, although the song was a little … shouty. Loved loved loved the pirates – Latvia I think? Personal favouritre for the song itself has to be Greece, i thought it was ace. Was VERY disturbed by the Spanish entry, so disturbed in fact that I had to put my knitting down for fear of poking myself in the eyes…
